Fall has come to the desert(finally). This is a mag­i­cal time of year in Palm Springs. Besides the obvi­ous weather cool down, the sky is a clear deep blue, the moun­tains seem to shine, and the palm trees sway with the nice calm breeze of the season.

Novem­ber is a busy month for the desert. Gay Pride, Leather Pride, and the Thanks­giv­ing hol­i­day to name a few, make for a full cal­en­dar. We are sold out for Gay Pride but we do have some rooms still avail­able for Leather Pride and the Thanks­giv­ing hol­i­day. When you book a stay with us for the Thanks­giv­ing week­end, we host a full turkey din­ner with all the trim­mings. Great food with­out the prep and clean up,  beau­ti­ful sur­round­ings, and sun­ning by the pool make for a stress free holiday.

Rates in Octo­ber are lower than high sea­son rates. It’s a great time to visit Warm Sands Villas.

Cinema Diverse in Palm Springs

Palm Springs is hold­ing its 5th annual LGBT film fest, Cin­ema Diverse.

Cin­ema Diverse offers 26 screen­ings– 22 dif­fer­ent fea­ture films and four short programs-over a four day period. The fes­ti­val runs Sep­tem­ber 20-23rd at Palm Springs Camelot Theatres.

Cinema Diverse Promo

We are hav­ing a spe­cial pro­mo­tion for the Cin­ema Diverse film fes­ti­val, run­ning Sep­tem­ber 20-23rd, 2012. The LGBT fes­ti­val is in its 5th year and this years selec­tion includes 26 screen­ings - 22 fea­ture lengths and 4 shorts. We are proud to be one of the spon­sors of this impor­tant event. We have some great pro­mo­tions for our guests attend­ing the festival.

When you book any room at WSV you will receive the following;

A sin­gle screen­ing pass for each guest on each night of their stay dur­ing the festival.

When you book a stan­dard room for four nights or a deluxe or bet­ter for three nights of the fes­ti­val you will receive our Dine and View. This includes a $50.00 din­ing cer­tifi­cate at Wangs or Roscoes, an addi­tional movie pass for each guest, and two drink tick­ets for Hunters nightclub.

All guests who par­tic­i­pate in our promo will also be entered into a draw­ing for a three night stay! Just write your name on your ticket stub and give it to the front desk and we will draw a name from all the turned in ticket stubs. The more films you see the bet­ter chance you have of winning.

Update from Warm Sands Villas

Greet­ings from beau­ti­ful Palm Springs,

We have had a very hot Sum­mer (big sur­prise) and we are all look­ing for­ward to Fall.

We still have some rooms avail­able for Labor Day week­end, August 31st thru Sep­tem­ber 3. We will be hav­ing our annual BBQ on Sun­day the 2nd.

Pride week­end will be here before you know it. This year it is Novem­ber 2 — 4. We only have a few rooms left for Pride week­end and they are going quick.

I hope every­one is hav­ing a great sum­mer and we look for­ward to see­ing old and new friends in the com­ing weeks and months.

Labor Day 2012

Why does it seem like Sum­mer goes by so fast? Its already August and before you know it sum­mer will be a dis­tant mem­ory. Before that hap­pens though, we have one more big event to cel­e­brate. The end of sum­mer party…Labor Day! Here at Warm Sands Vil­las, we will be hav­ing our annual BBQ along with some fun times around the pool.
